6-piece-round-christmas-tree-placemats-38-1cm
6-Piece Round Christmas Tree Placemats, 38.1cm

This is a set of 6 round Christmas placemats, each 38.1cm across, printed with a repeating Christmas tree pattern. They give your dinner table an instant holiday look without the cost or fuss of a full festive tablecloth. Lay one under each plate and the table is set for Christmas lunch, a December dinner party or the family get-together that runs late into the evening. The round shape frames a dinner plate neatly, and the fabric-look surface helps protect your table from warm dishes, cutlery scratches and small spills. Six pieces cover a standard six-seater dining table, which suits most Kenyan family homes and apartments. Pair them with plain white plates, gold cutlery or a simple centrepiece of candles and greenery for a calm, coordinated look. They also make a practical hostess gift for someone hosting the family this year.

Specifications

Pieces

6 placemats

Size

38.1cm diameter

Shape

Round

Design

Christmas tree print

Use

Dining table setting

Buying guide

Measure your table: a 38.1cm mat sits comfortably under a standard dinner plate with room for cutlery on each side. Six mats fit a six-seater table, so buy a second set for larger gatherings. Store them flat after use to keep the edges smooth. Wipe spills promptly with a damp cloth and let them dry flat before packing them away for next December. Avoid placing very hot pots directly on them; use a trivet for serving dishes.

How it compares

A Christmas tablecloth covers the whole table but needs washing and ironing after every meal, and one spill affects everything. Individual placemats are quicker to wipe, easier to store and let the wood of your table show through. A tablecloth gives fuller coverage if your table surface is worn.

Frequently asked questions

How many placemats are in the set?
Six round placemats, enough for a standard six-seater dining table.

How big is each placemat?
Each one measures 38.1cm in diameter, large enough to sit under a full dinner plate.

How do I clean them?
Wipe with a damp cloth and let them dry flat.
