Switch it on and give the wax time to soften before the scent spreads. Place the warmer on a flat, stable surface away from curtains and out of reach of small children and pets, and switch it off when you leave the room. Wipe the shade and base with a dry cloth; never wet the cable or switch. Ask us which shade colour is in stock when you order.

How it compares

Burning a candle with a flame uses up the wax quickly, leaves black soot on the jar and is a fire risk if forgotten. A warmer melts the wax from above instead, so you get the same fragrance with no flame, no smoke and a candle that lasts much longer. The trade-off is that it needs a socket nearby.

Frequently asked questions

Does it come with a candle?
No, the candle is not included; use any jar candle that fits under the shade.

Is it safer than lighting a candle?
Yes, there is no open flame, so no smoke, soot or flame left burning.

Will my candle last longer?
Yes, because the wick is never burnt, the wax lasts much longer.

Do you deliver outside Nairobi?
Yes — same-day delivery within Nairobi and countrywide shipping to Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret and beyond, with payment by M-Pesa or on delivery.

Available at WIMU Kitchen, Nairobi. Same-day Nairobi delivery · countrywide shipping (Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret) · pay by M-Pesa or on delivery.
