kitchen-soap-pump-dispenser-and-sponge-caddy-with-sponge-grey
Kitchen Soap Pump Dispenser and Sponge Caddy with Sponge, Grey

This is a kitchen soap pump dispenser with a sponge caddy: you fill the clear tank with dish soap, rest the sponge on top and simply press the sponge down to pump the right amount of liquid straight into it. It means one-handed dishwashing without picking up a slippery bottle, no more pouring half the bottle onto the sponge, and a tidier sink edge because the sponge has its own dry spot instead of sitting in a puddle. The packaging highlights a non-slip base, and the product image quotes a capacity of around 12 fluid ounces, enough to last a busy family kitchen a good while between refills. It comes with a sponge and suits anyone who washes dishes daily, from family kitchens to student hostels and small office kitchenettes. The grey top and clear tank look neat next to most sinks and let you see when the soap is running low.

Specifications

Type

Press-down soap pump with sponge caddy

Colour

Grey

Includes

Sponge

Capacity

About 12 fl oz (per product image)

Features (from box)

One-handed design, non-slip base

Buying guide

Fill the tank with ordinary liquid dish soap; very thick or gel soaps can be diluted with a little water so they pump easily. Press gently and briefly; one quick press usually gives enough soap for a sink of dishes. Lift the sponge caddy off weekly and rinse the pump and drainage tray, so soap residue does not clog the mechanism. Replace the sponge every few weeks, as any standard rectangular kitchen sponge of a similar size will fit. Keep it on a flat, dry spot near the tap so water from the sponge drips back into the sink rather than onto the counter.

How it compares

A soap bottle and separate sponge dish means two-handed squeezing, waste and a wet counter. This combined dispenser and caddy saves soap, keeps the sponge drier and clears clutter from the sink edge. Compared with wall-mounted soap dispensers, it needs no installation and can be moved anywhere on the counter or taken along when you move house.

Frequently asked questions

How does it dispense soap?
Press the sponge down on the caddy and the pump pushes dish soap up into it.

Does it come with a sponge?
Yes, one sponge is included.

Can I use any dish soap?
Yes, any liquid dish soap works.
