The fabric is gathered into small pinched pleats arranged in a cross pattern, which gives the bed a full, sculpted, almost cushioned look that you normally see in boutique hotels. A big practical bonus is that the pleated texture hides creases, so the bed looks neat even if you do not iron and only have a minute to make it before work. The textured pillowcases complete the look without needing extra decorative cushions. It is a strong choice for busy households, a main bedroom that needs a lift, a guest room or a short-stay apartment where a bed must look photo-ready after every change. As a cover, it protects your duvet and is far easier to wash than the duvet itself.

Specifications

Design

Pinch pleat cross pintuck

Fits

6x6 and 6x7 beds

In the set

1 duvet cover, 2 pillowcases

Duvet

Not included (cover only)

Bedsheet

Not included

Buying guide

Pinch pleats look their best over a well-filled duvet, so pair this cover with a medium or thick duvet that fills the corners. Add a plain fitted sheet in a matching or contrasting colour, as no sheet is included. Wash inside out on a gentle cycle in cool water and avoid overloading the machine, which crushes the pleats. Do not iron over the pintucks; instead shake the cover firmly and line-dry it, smoothing the pleats with your hands while damp so they set neatly. If you have a front-loading machine, a single set fits comfortably in one wash. Keep a second set so you can rotate weekly.

How it compares

A flat plain cover shows every crease unless ironed, and a heavy quilted comforter is hard to wash at home. A pinch pleat cover gives a full, textured hotel look, hides wrinkles, and still goes in the washing machine, so it is the low-effort way to keep a bed looking styled.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to iron it?
No. The pleated texture hides creases.
