Fill the clear tank with dish soap, place the sponge on the top tray, and one press releases just enough soap to wash a sink of plates, sufurias and cups. You use one hand, waste less soap and never have to pick up a greasy bottle again. At roughly 14 x 10 x 10.5 cm it fits on the narrowest counter edge or windowsill beside the sink, and the raised tray lets the sponge drain and dry between uses instead of going sour in a puddle. It comes with a sponge, in black or grey, and suits small Nairobi apartment kitchens, student rooms, staff kitchens and any household that wants a tidier sink area with less mess.

Specifications

Type

Press-down soap pump with sponge holder

Size

14 x 10 x 10.5 cm (per product image)

Tank

Clear, shows soap level

Includes

Sponge

Colours

Black, grey

Buying guide

Black hides soap marks and suits dark granite or modern black taps; grey blends with stainless steel sinks and light worktops. Use regular liquid dish soap, diluting thick gel soaps slightly so the pump does not strain. A light, quick press is enough; pressing repeatedly just wastes soap. Every week or two, lift off the top tray and rinse the pump and tray under warm water to keep the valve clear. Replace the sponge when it starts to smell or fall apart; any standard rectangular kitchen sponge will fit. Wipe the base occasionally so it stays stable on wet counters.

How it compares

A squeeze bottle and a sponge on the sink edge means wasted soap, slimy counters and two hands for every top-up. This dispenser combines both into one tidy unit that meters the soap for you. Wall-mounted dispensers need fixing to tiles, whereas this simply sits beside the sink and can be moved any time.

Frequently asked questions

How big is it?
About 14 cm long, 10 cm deep and 10.5 cm tall, according to the product image.

Does it come with a sponge?
Yes, a sponge is included.

How do I refill it?
Lift off the sponge tray and pour liquid dish soap straight into the clear tank.

Which colours are available?
Black and grey.

Do you deliver outside Nairobi?
Yes — same-day delivery within Nairobi and countrywide shipping to Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret and beyond, with payment by M-Pesa or on delivery.

Available at WIMU Kitchen, Nairobi. Same-day Nairobi delivery · countrywide shipping (Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret) · pay by M-Pesa or on delivery.
