rechargeable-dimmable-led-touch-table-lamp-with-diamond-pattern-shade-gold
Rechargeable Dimmable LED Touch Table Lamp with Diamond-Pattern Shade, Gold

This is a rechargeable, dimmable LED table lamp with a touch control, a diamond-pattern shade and a gold metal stand, made to give any room a soft, sparkling glow without a cable. It switches between three light modes: white, warm and warm white, so you can use crisp light for reading or homework and a warm glow to wind down at night. Because it is rechargeable, you can place it anywhere: a bedside table far from the socket, a dining table for dinner, a balcony for evenings outdoors, or a desk. It also keeps glowing through a blackout, which is no small thing in Nairobi. The textured shade scatters the light into a pretty pattern on the walls, giving a bedroom or living room the feel of a boutique hotel. It makes a lovely gift for a housewarming, a new couple or anyone who likes a calm, cosy corner.

Specifications

Light

LED, dimmable

Modes

3: white, warm and warm white

Control

Touch

Power

Rechargeable, cordless use

Design

Diamond-pattern clear shade on a gold-tone metal stand

Best for

Bedside, desk, dining table, living room, balcony

Buying guide

Charge the lamp fully before first use, then recharge whenever it starts to dim on its own; topping up before it runs flat helps the battery last. Use the white mode for reading, studying or working, and the warm modes for bedrooms and dinners, where softer light helps you relax. Lower brightness also stretches each charge further. Place it on a flat, stable surface away from the edge, since the shade is heavier than the slim stem. Dust the shade with a soft dry cloth and avoid wet wipes on the charging port. If you are buying as a gift, a pair either side of a bed looks especially good.

How it compares

Compared with a plug-in bedside lamp, this one goes anywhere without trailing cables and keeps working when the power goes. Compared with a basic rechargeable camping light, it is far more decorative, with a metal stand and a patterned shade that makes it a feature of the room rather than an emergency tool. A plug-in lamp is better only if you want it on for many hours every night without recharging.

Frequently asked questions

Does it need to be plugged in to work?
No. It is rechargeable, so once charged it works cordless anywhere in the house or on the balcony.

What light colours does it have?
It has three modes: white, warm and warm white, and the brightness is dimmable.

How do I turn it on?
It is a touch lamp: touch the control to switch it on, change mode or adjust brightness.

Will it work during a power cut?
Yes.
