ribbed-arch-ceramic-soap-dispenser-with-chrome-pump-black-or-white
Ribbed Arch Ceramic Soap Dispenser with Chrome Pump, Black or White

This is a ceramic soap dispenser with a pump top, made to replace the bottle of hand wash or dish soap sitting by your sink with something that actually looks good. The body has a ribbed arch design in glossy black or white, topped with a chrome-finish pump, so it reads more like a hotel bathroom than a supermarket shelf. Decant your hand soap, dish liquid or lotion once, buy refills in bulk, and the counter stays tidy while you save on single bottles. It is a small change that lifts a guest toilet, a busy kitchen sink or a rental bathroom where you cannot renovate but still want it to feel finished. The weight of the ceramic keeps it steady when you press the pump with one hand, and the flat base sits neatly on a vanity, tray or sink edge. Pair the black and white for a matching kitchen and bathroom set.

Specifications

Material

Ceramic body

Pump

Chrome-finish push pump

Design

Ribbed arch shape, glossy finish

Colours

Black or white (as pictured)

Best for

Hand soap, dish soap, lotion, sanitiser

Buying guide

Choose white for a light, airy bathroom or a white-tiled kitchen, and black where you want contrast against marble, wood or pale tiles. Liquid soaps and lotions both work, but very thick creams pump slowly, so thin them slightly or stick to standard hand wash. When refilling, unscrew the pump, pour through a small funnel and leave a little headroom so the tube sits properly. Rinse the pump with warm water every few refills to stop soap drying inside it and clogging. Wipe the ribs with a soft cloth rather than an abrasive sponge to keep the glaze glossy. As with any ceramic piece, place it where it will not be knocked into a hard sink.

How it compares

Compared with a plastic pump bottle, ceramic is heavier, more stable and looks considerably better on display, though it needs a little more care around hard surfaces. Compared with a bar of soap on a dish, a pump is more hygienic for shared bathrooms and leaves no slimy residue to clean. It is the easiest upgrade for a sink that looks cluttered.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use it for dish soap in the kitchen?
Yes. It works with dish liquid, hand wash, lotion or liquid sanitiser, so many people use one at the kitchen sink and one in the bathroom.

Which colours are available?
Glossy black and glossy white, both with a chrome-finish pump.

How do I refill it?
Unscrew the pump top, pour the soap in with a small funnel and screw the pump back on.
