silicone-door-stopper-and-wall-guard
Silicone Door Stopper and Wall Guard

Tired of that dent in the wall where the door handle hits, or doors banging shut in the wind? This silicone door stopper and guard is a small fix for a very common problem. It sits on the wall behind the door, and its soft silicone ring catches the handle so the door stops gently instead of chipping paint or plaster. The flexible ring and stem absorb the knock, which also means less noise and fewer cracked walls over time. It is available in white, blue and pink, so you can keep it subtle on painted walls or add a pop of colour in a child's room. Use it in bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and offices, wherever a door swings fully open. It is especially handy in breezy Nairobi homes where open windows send doors flying, and in rented apartments where you want to protect the walls before moving out.

Specifications

Material

Silicone

Colour

White, Blue or Pink

Use

Protects walls from door handles

Placement

Wall behind the door, at handle height

Sold as

Single piece

Buying guide

Open the door fully and mark where the handle touches the wall; that is where the stopper goes. Make sure the wall surface is clean, dry and smooth before fixing it, as dust and textured paint reduce grip. Choose white for a discreet look or blue or pink for a playful room. Wipe it with a damp cloth when needed. A wall-mounted silicone guard stays in place, keeps the floor clear and protects the wall exactly where the handle would hit.

Frequently asked questions

Where should I fit it?
On the wall behind the door, exactly where the door handle touches when the door is fully open.

What colours are available?
White, blue and pink.

Will it stop the door from slamming?
It cushions the door when it swings open into the wall, which stops the bang and protects the paint.

Is it sold singly?
Yes, each stopper is sold individually.

Do you deliver outside Nairobi?
Yes — same-day delivery within Nairobi and countrywide shipping to Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret and beyond, with payment by M-Pesa or on delivery.

Available at WIMU Kitchen, Nairobi. Same-day Nairobi delivery · countrywide shipping (Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret) · pay by M-Pesa or on delivery.
