Kenyan bed sizes are 3x6, 4x6, 5x6 and 6x6 feet, and the 6 to 12 inch pocket fits most standard and thicker mattresses. Use it directly on the mattress; it can work as your fitted sheet or under another sheet. Wash before first use, on a gentle cycle in cool or warm water, without bleach. Do not iron or tumble dry on high heat, as this weakens the waterproof backing. Dry in the shade. Two sets let you rotate while one is in the wash, which is especially handy with small children.

How it compares

Compared with a plain plastic mattress cover, bamboo terry is soft, breathable and quiet, so you do not sweat or hear crinkling. Compared with an ordinary fitted sheet, it adds a waterproof barrier that saves the mattress from stains. A full zip-around mackintosh offers more complete coverage for heavy-duty or medical use.

Frequently asked questions

What is included?
One waterproof fitted mattress cover and two cotton pillowcases.

Can I use it as a bedsheet?
Yes.
