Five compact glass bottles for ginger shots, juices, smoothies and wellness drinks. Glass is the right material for anything with ginger, lemon or turmeric in it: those flavours and colours sink into plastic permanently, while glass rinses clean and the next batch tastes like itself.

Buying guide
Batch on a Sunday and fill all five — the reason people stop taking daily shots is the making, not the drinking. Leave a little headspace if anything goes in the freezer, since liquid expands. Wash promptly after turmeric, which stains even glass seals if left standing.
How it compares
Against plastic bottles, glass does not hold ginger, garlic or turmeric flavour and does not stain. Against one large bottle, five portions mean no measuring each morning. Against jars, the narrow neck actually pours into a glass without spilling.
