Length is the decision. A 1000mm pendant suits a dining table of roughly 1.5–2 metres, and should be centred on the table rather than on the room — the two are rarely the same point, and the table always wins. Hang the lowest edge 75–85cm above the tabletop so it lights plates without blocking faces. Over a kitchen island, 90cm above the counter works better. Because the LED is integrated, there are no bulbs to buy, but the fitting is the light source, so build quality is everything. Dust the crystal once or twice a year. Ceiling fixing needs a solid anchor point and a qualified electrician, ideally confirmed before delivery day.
