This is a 10-piece non-stick casserole set in a soft cream finish with a raised woven-texture exterior: five pots and five glass lids that look as good on the dining table as they do on the cooker. Sizes go from a 20 cm 2 L casserole for sauces and vegetables, through 24 cm 4.5 L and 28 cm 6.8 L, up to a 32 cm 9.6 L casserole for big batches of pilau or stew, plus a 28 cm 4 L shallow casserole for frying and braising. The heavy body and non-stick interior mean food releases cleanly and washing up is quick. A flat induction base makes it suitable for gas, induction, vitroceramic and halogen hobs. Glass lids with dark wood-effect knobs let you watch food cook without lifting the lid. Buying guide
If you cook for a family of four or more, the 28 cm and 32 cm pots will see the most use, while the shallow casserole replaces a frying pan for most dishes. Keep the flame at medium; on gas, make sure the flame does not lick up the sides, which discolours a light cream exterior. Use wooden or silicone utensils and a soft sponge to protect the non-stick interior, and never plunge a hot pot into cold water. The textured outside hides fingerprints, but wipe spills promptly so they do not settle in the grooves. Store with a cloth between pots to avoid scratches when nesting.
How it compares
This set is nearly identical in size range to our taupe non-stick set; choose it for the cream colour and woven texture. Compared with aluminium sufurias it needs less oil and cleans in seconds. Against stainless steel it is easier day to day but less suited to very high-heat searing and will need gentler care.
