Buying guide
Hang the string where the solar panel gets full sunlight during the day. Zig-zag it over an outdoor seating area or along a pergola for a party look. Being IP65 means rain is fine, but wipe the panel clean regularly. Coil loosely after use to protect the globes. For events, plan the layout in daylight so the panel and string sit in the right spots.
How it compares
Standard fairy lights look tiny outdoors. The crystal globes catch and scatter light for a fuller, more festive sparkle, and solar power means you can light a garden party without running cables from the house. Draped over the outdoor table, the 100 globes turn an ordinary evening into a Christmas garden party.
