This is a 2-tier steel over-cabinet door rack that hooks over the top of a kitchen cabinet door and gives you two hanging bars for dish towels and hand towels. There is no drilling and no screws: you simply hang it over the door, which makes it ideal for rented Nairobi apartments and small kitchens where wall space is taken. Two bars mean you can keep one towel for drying hands and another for dishes, both hanging flat so they dry faster instead of staying damp in a heap on the counter. It sits neatly below the worktop, out of the way but always within reach of the sink. Available in black or white to match your cabinets. It also works on bathroom vanity doors for face towels. A low-cost, practical fix for anyone tired of towels hanging off oven handles or sitting crumpled by the sink.

Buying guide
Check that your cabinet door closes with a small gap at the top, since the hooks sit over the door edge. Doors that close flush against a frame may rub, so test it gently. Choose black or white to match your handles or cabinet colour. Hang towels flat across each bar so they dry quickly. Wipe the steel with a dry cloth now and then, and avoid leaving soaking-wet towels on it for days so the finish stays clean.
How it compares
Draping towels over the oven handle or a chair works, but they slip off and stay damp. A wall-mounted towel rail needs drilling. This over-door rack needs no tools, holds two towels flat, and moves with you if you change house. It suits doors with a small top gap.
