Returns
A three-piece women's set built around a quartz wristwatch, with coordinating accessories, presented in a gift box. It is bought as a gift almost every time: the pieces match, the box needs no wrapping, and the watch is wearable daily rather than being a novelty that stays in the drawer after the birthday.

Buying guide
Order ahead of a dated occasion — a gift set that arrives the day after a birthday is no gift at all. Keep the watch away from water, lotion and perfume, which are what dull plated finishes fastest. If you are gifting to someone who already owns several watches, the coordinated accessories are what makes this feel considered rather than duplicated.
How it compares
Against a single watch, the coordinated set looks more generous for the same effort and arrives gift-boxed. Against jewellery, a watch gets worn daily rather than for occasions. Against a gift voucher, it is something to open — which still matters at a party.
