A 4x6 duvet set for the standard Kenyan single bed — the size that fits a child's room, a hostel bed, a boarding school trunk or a guest bed in a spare room. Everything arrives matched and ready to put on the bed, which is what you want when you are kitting out a room rather than decorating one.

Buying guide
For a child's bed or a hostel, buy two sets rather than one: bedding at that size gets washed constantly and a spare means the bed is never bare. Check the duvet size rather than the bed frame, since 4x6 frames sometimes carry a slightly larger duvet. Wash before first use and dry in the shade to keep the colour.
How it compares
Against a 5x6 set, this is the single-bed size — do not size up hoping for extra drop, because the cover will shift inside. Against buying a cover and sheets separately, a set guarantees the pieces match. Against heavier bedding, a breathable single set suits a child's room where the bed is also a sofa, a fort and a trampoline.
