An aluminium outdoor lamp in black with a standard E27 fitting — which is the practical detail, because E27 means you can use whatever bulb you prefer, warm or cool, and replace it anywhere. Aluminium is the right body material outdoors: it does not rust like steel in coastal air, and the black finish hides dust between cleans.

Buying guide
Pick the bulb with the lamp in mind: warm white for an entrance or patio where you want atmosphere, cool white where you want to actually see the path. Have it installed by an electrician on an outdoor-rated circuit. Wipe the fitting occasionally — dust and cobwebs on an outdoor lamp cut its light output noticeably within a season.
How it compares
Against a sealed LED fixture, an E27 lamp lets you change bulbs and brightness as you like rather than replacing the whole unit when it fails. Against solar garden lights, this gives consistent brightness regardless of the weather, but needs wiring. Against a plastic outdoor lamp, aluminium lasts considerably longer in sun and rain.
