This is a toothbrush holder with a built-in toothpaste dispenser and a matching rinse cup, made from BPA-free plastic. Push the toothpaste tube into the top, then press your brush against the opening at the front and it squeezes out a neat portion, so there is no more squashed tube, missing cap or blobs of paste on the sink. Several slots on top hold the whole family's toothbrushes upright and apart, and the rinse cup sits in its own space to the side. It comes with an adhesive sticker for fixing, keeping it steady on the counter or wall. It is especially good for children who are learning to brush on their own, since they can get the right amount of toothpaste without help and without waste. The soft pastel colours, shown in pink, green and blue, add a cheerful touch to a family or children's bathroom.

Buying guide
Fit standard toothpaste tubes with the cap removed, nozzle down, and give the dispenser a few presses to prime it the first time. Press the brush gently; a light push gives a pea-sized amount, which is the right portion for children. Clean the dispensing outlet weekly with a damp cloth so dried paste does not build up. Wash the cup regularly and let it dry upside down. If sticking it in place, clean and dry the surface first and press firmly. Place it away from direct shower spray so brushes dry well between uses.
How it compares
A plain cup holding brushes and a loose tube means messy squeezing, lost caps and brush heads touching each other. This holder keeps brushes separated, dispenses paste neatly and includes a rinse cup. Wall-mounted dispensers save more counter space, but this freestanding style is quicker to set up and easier to move.
