Ever wondered how decorators get those big, fluffy ribbon swirls through a tree? This Christmas mesh tulle ribbon roll is the secret, and it comes with folding instructions attached, so you can get the look at home.
The roll measures 9.1m by 26cm, wide enough to create full, airy loops. It is available in white and gold shades, which work with almost any colour scheme. Weave it down the tree, tie oversized bows for the front door, wrap a wreath or finish a pile of Christmas and New Year gifts. One roll goes a long way.

Buying guide
For a tree swirl, start at the top and tuck loops into the branches every 20 to 30cm as you work down. Pinch and twist the mesh rather than cutting it, so you can reuse the full roll next year. Store it rolled up, not folded, to avoid hard creases in the fabric.
How it compares
Narrow satin ribbon looks thin and lost on a full-size tree. Wide mesh tulle holds its shape in big airy loops, fills gaps between branches and gives a professional finish at a fraction of the cost of ready-made bows from a decor shop.
