Gently squeeze excess water out of your hair before putting the cap on, then tuck all your hair inside and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes; you will usually need far less time with a blow dryer afterwards, if any. For long or very thick hair, flip your head forward, gather the hair into the cap and pull the elastic down at the nape. Wash the cap every few uses in cool water with mild soap and let it air-dry; avoid fabric softener, which reduces absorbency. Having two caps means one is always dry and ready. 6. Damaged in Transit
