A tieback is a small thing that changes a window. Curtains left to hang loose block the edges of the glass and make a room darker than it needs to be; drawing them back and holding them properly lets in noticeably more daylight and gives the window a finished, deliberate line instead of a bunched one. It also keeps the curtain fabric out of the way of a sill, a radiator or an open window — which protects the fabric as well as the view. Easy to use and suitable for different curtain styles and weights, from light voiles to heavy blackout panels. The cheapest possible upgrade to a room that already has curtains.

Buying guide
Position matters more than the tieback itself. The traditional placement is roughly two thirds of the way down the curtain from the top, which creates the classic gathered curve; higher makes a window look taller, lower makes it look wider. Draw the curtain back far enough to clear the glass, not just the frame, or you gain no extra light. Buy a pair so both sides match. Avoid tying heavy curtains too tightly, which sets permanent creases in the fabric. Release the curtains fully every so often so folds do not become fixed in one shape.
How it compares
Against leaving curtains loose, a tieback lets in more light and looks intentional. Against a hold-back hook fixed to the wall, a tieback needs no drilling and can move. For very heavy curtains, a fixed wall hold-back carries the weight more securely.

4. Tracking
You will receive a tracking link by email or SMS once your parcel is dispatched. For courier deliveries we share the rider's contact number on dispatch day.

6. Damaged in Transit
Please inspect your order on delivery. If anything is damaged, take a photo and contact us within 48 hours. See our Refund Policy for the next steps.
7. Store Pickup
Choose "Pickup" at checkout to collect your order from our Platinum Plaza showroom in Nairobi CBD at no extra cost. We will email you when the order is ready.
