This is a compact electric mosquito killer lamp that uses a purple UV light to attract mosquitoes and small flying insects, then zaps them on an inner grid. At about 14cm tall and 6cm wide, it is for bedrooms, living rooms and offices where mosquitoes keep you awake.
It has a strap loop on top so you can hang it or stand it on a bedside table, and it works without sprays, coils or smoke. The set comes with a cable and a small cleaning brush for clearing the grid, making it a handy chemical-free extra to your mosquito net.

Buying guide
Place the lamp in a dark corner away from other lights, ideally near where mosquitoes gather, and switch it on at dusk for best results. Hanging it at about bed height works well in a bedroom. Keep it out of reach of children and pets, and never push fingers or objects through the outer cage. Switch it off and unplug it before cleaning, then use the included brush to sweep insects from the grid. Do not wash it with water. It works best in a closed room and alongside a net, rather than as the only protection outdoors.
How it compares
Mosquito coils and sprays work quickly but leave smoke or chemical smells that bother children and people with asthma. Plug-in repellent liquids need refills. This lamp is chemical-free and reusable, with no refills, though it is slower, covers a smaller area, and only catches insects drawn to the light, so a mosquito net is still the best protection for sleeping.

Choose "Pickup" at checkout to collect your order from our Platinum Plaza showroom in Nairobi CBD at no extra cost. We will email you when the order is ready.
