A wet bathroom floor or a dusty doorway is where most slips and mess start. This geometric pattern door and bath mat gives you a soft, stylish landing spot that stays in place. It is the bigger 50 x 80cm size, so it covers the full space in front of a shower, bathtub or sink, or the width of most front and balcony doors. Underneath is an anti-slip rubber bottom, which means the mat grips smooth tiles and terrazzo instead of sliding when you step out with wet feet. The modern print of soft grey stripes with warm amber accents makes a plain floor look styled rather than bare. It suits Nairobi apartments with tiled floors, family homes where children run in and out, and anyone who wants the entrance or bathroom to look neat when guests visit. Lay it flat, step on, and enjoy a floor that feels cosier and safer every day.

Buying guide
Measure the floor space in front of your shower, sink or door first: at 50 x 80cm this mat needs a clear area slightly larger than that so it lies flat without curling against the wall or door. Make sure the door can swing over it without catching. Place it on a clean, dry floor so the rubber bottom grips well. To clean, shake out dust regularly and wash gently by hand, then let it dry completely, rubber side up, before putting it back down.
How it compares
A towel or an old cloth thrown on the floor soaks up water but slides on tiles and quickly looks untidy. This mat has a rubber bottom that holds it in place and a printed top that looks intentional. It is also larger than the small 40 x 60cm mats commonly sold, so it covers more floor.
