Buying guide
A 4x6 ft mattress suits one adult comfortably or two children, so measure the floor space where it will go and allow room to walk around it. Before first use, inflate it fully and leave it for a few hours, then top it up: new vinyl stretches slightly the first night and the mattress will feel softer by morning. Do not over-inflate, especially on a hot day, as the air expands. Lay a sheet or rug underneath on rough floors and keep it away from sharp edges, pets' claws and heaters. To store, deflate fully, wipe and dry the surface, fold loosely and keep it in a cool, dry cupboard. Add a fitted sheet and a duvet on top and it feels like a proper bed.
