The blue version of our wrinkle stripe pillowcase. Blue is the tone that works hardest in a bedroom: it sits comfortably with white, grey and wood, and it does not date the way a fashion colour does. The crinkle texture means it never needs pressing, which is why people who buy one usually come back for a second.

Buying guide
Buy a pair rather than a single case if it is for a double bed — one crinkled case beside one smooth one looks like a mistake. Wash cool, shake out and leave to dry; no pressing. Blue holds colour well but keep it out of relentless direct sun like any dyed bedding.
How it compares
Against the multi-colour version, blue is the safest tone for an existing bedroom. Against plain cotton cases, this needs no ironing. Against satin, it is matt, casual and cooler to the touch on a warm night.
Frequently asked questions
Should I iron it?
No. The crinkle texture is the design and ironing flattens it.
Is it sold as a pair?
Check the quantity in the listing — for a double bed, a matching pair looks best.
Will the blue fade?
It holds colour well with cool washing and shade drying, like any dyed bedding.
