No-Battery Escape: Lansinoh...

Some days, the outlet just isn't there. A power cut, a long matatu ride, a desk with no plug in sight — that's exactly when the Lansinoh Manual Breast Pump earns its place in your bag. No batteries, no cables, no waiting for a charge: just a quiet, ergonomic handle you control by hand, for a discreet pump session wherever you happen to be.

Built around Lansinoh's adjustable 2-phase technology, it mirrors how milk actually flows — a gentler stimulation stroke to start the let-down, then a deeper expression stroke to keep it moving efficiently. Compact, lightweight, and dishwasher safe, it slips into a changing bag as easily as it slots in as a dependable backup to an electric pump.

Buying guide

Reach for this one on the days your electric pump isn't practical — a power cut, a long visit to the shags, a desk drawer that only fits something small. Because it runs on your hand, not a battery or socket, it works exactly the same in a village kitchen as it does in a Nairobi office bathroom. New mums like it as their very first pump since it's gentle to learn on; mums already using an electric pump like it as the backup that never lets them down. Pay by M-Pesa or cash on delivery, wherever you are.

How it compares

Where the generic manual pumps in our range (Momeasy, Healthy, Mom Easy) are budget picks for occasional use, the Lansinoh brings genuine 2-phase technology — a proper stimulation cycle before expression, the way the body naturally lets down milk — plus full compatibility with the Lansinoh bottle and storage-bag system many hospitals already recommend. If you're pumping full-time, pair it as backup to one of our electric or wearable pumps; if you only need occasional relief, it can comfortably be your only pump.

Frequently asked questions

Does it need batteries or a power source?
No. It's fully hand-operated, so it works anywhere, anytime, with zero charging or batteries to think about.

What's the difference between the stimulation and expression modes?
The handle has two settings: a quicker, lighter stroke that mimics your baby's initial suckling to trigger let-down, then a deeper stroke for the expression phase once milk is flowing. Switching between them helps you express more efficiently.

Can I use Lansinoh storage bags and bottles with it?
Yes, the pump is built to work directly with Lansinoh breast milk storage bags and the full range of Lansinoh baby bottles, so you can pump straight into what you already use for feeding or freezing.

Do you deliver outside Nairobi?
Yes — same-day delivery within Nairobi and countrywide shipping to Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret and beyond, with payment by M-Pesa or on delivery.
