A portable outdoor hanger built for the places there is nowhere to hang anything: a campsite, a balcony with no line, a utility corner. It sets up without tools and takes towels, damp clothes and gear off the ground, which at a campsite is the difference between dry kit in the morning and damp kit in the morning.

Buying guide
Load it evenly rather than hanging everything on one side, which is what tips a lightweight frame. Position it where air moves, since anything hung in a dead corner dries slowly. Pack it dry so nothing corrodes or mildews between trips. Photos on the listing show the exact configuration — check them if you are matching it to a specific spot.
How it compares
Against a washing line, a hanger needs no fixing points and travels. Against draping clothes over a tent, it keeps things off fabric and lets air get around them. Against a full drying rack, it is far lighter and smaller, holding less.
Frequently asked questions
What can I hang on it?
Clothes, towels and gear — anything you want off the ground and in the air.
Does it need tools to set up?
No, it assembles without tools and packs down for transport.
Will it tip over?
