Zipped multipurpose storage bags for quilts, duvets, blankets and out-of-season clothing. The word multipurpose is earned: the same bag that holds a spare duvet in September holds winter clothes in February, which makes it the most reused storage item in most wardrobes.

Buying guide
Store everything clean and completely dry — sealing anything slightly damp is how a wardrobe ends up smelling musty. Do not crush duvets flat for months, since compression kills loft. Label the bags: identical bags on a shelf mean opening two before you find what you want.
How it compares
Against vacuum bags, these keep contents breathable and preserve loft, taking more space. Against plastic sacks, a zipped bag stacks neatly and does not tear. Against leaving bedding loose, it comes out ready to use rather than needing a wash first.
