These are seamless self-adhesive wall hooks, sold as a pack of 5. Each one has a clear, ribbed star-shaped base with a polished gold-tone hook, so they look like a small décor piece rather than a plain utility hook. They stick on with adhesive, meaning no drilling and no holes, which is ideal for rented Nairobi apartments, tiled bathrooms and kitchen walls. Use them by the door for keys and handbags, in the bathroom for a loofah or face towel, in the bedroom for jewellery and necklaces, or in the kitchen for a hand towel or small brush. Because the base is clear, they blend into most wall colours and tiles. Five hooks let you set up a small key station, a bathroom row and a spare or two around the house. A quick, affordable way to get everyday items off counters and chairs and into one tidy, easy-to-find spot.

Buying guide
Choose smooth, flat surfaces such as tile, glass, laminate or gloss-painted walls; rough or flaky paint will not hold well. Wipe the spot with spirit, let it dry completely, then press the hook firmly for about 30 seconds. Leave it unloaded for several hours before hanging anything. Keep loads light, such as keys, small bags, towels and loofahs, rather than heavy coats or school bags. Wipe the base with a damp cloth to keep it shiny.
How it compares
Screw-in hooks hold heavier loads but need drilling and leave holes, which landlords dislike. Plain plastic adhesive hooks do the same job but look basic. These keep the no-drill convenience and add a decorative clear-and-gold look, best suited to light everyday items.
