Buying guide
Check that your usual food containers and bottle fit before buying; the bag is box-shaped, so flat rectangular containers stack best. Close containers tightly, as the bag is insulated, not leak-proof. For hot food, warm the container first and pack it last thing before leaving. For cold drinks, add a small ice pack. After use, open the bag to air, wipe the foil lining with a damp cloth and mild soap, and dry it with the lid open to stop smells. Do not machine wash or iron it, as heat can damage the insulation. Adjust the strap so the bag sits at your hip, not your knees.

A plain carrier bag or backpack offers no insulation, so food cools quickly and spills are common. A hard cool box keeps temperatures longer but is bulky to carry on a matatu or bike. Orders placed before 2:00 PM (EAT) on a business day are processed the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM, on weekends, or on public holidays are processed the next business day.

3. Shipping Fees

4. Tracking
You will receive a tracking link by email or SMS once your parcel is dispatched. For courier deliveries we share the rider's contact number on dispatch day.
5. Delivery Issues
If your package has not arrived within the estimated time frame, please contact us at info@wimukitchen.com or call +254 758 157 035. We will follow up with the courier on your behalf.
6. Damaged in Transit
Please inspect your order on delivery. If anything is damaged, take a photo and contact us within 48 hours. See our Refund Policy for the next steps.
7. Store Pickup
Choose "Pickup" at checkout to collect your order from our Platinum Plaza showroom in Nairobi CBD at no extra cost. We will email you when the order is ready.
