This is a waterproof fitted sheet and mattress protector in soft bamboo terry cloth that keeps your mattress dry and clean while feeling comfortable to sleep on. It is 100% waterproof, with an absorbent terry surface that soaks up spills and sweat and a backing that stops anything reaching the foam. A 6 to 12 inch deep pocket with an elastic band holds the mattress firmly, so it stays smooth even if you toss and turn. The set includes 2 cotton pillowcases, and the fabric is described as hypoallergenic, a good choice for children, allergy sufferers and anyone sensitive to dust. It comes in 3x6, 4x6, 5x6 and 6x6 sizes, in white, blue, grey, beige and navy blue depending on size. Ideal for children's beds, guest rooms, Airbnbs and anyone who wants to protect a new mattress without giving up comfort.

Buying guide
Measure your mattress width, length and depth before choosing. Kenyan bed sizes are 3x6, 4x6, 5x6 and 6x6 feet, and the 6 to 12 inch pocket fits most standard and thicker mattresses. Use it directly on the mattress; it can work as your fitted sheet or under another sheet. Wash before first use, on a gentle cycle in cool or warm water, without bleach. Do not iron or tumble dry on high heat, as this weakens the waterproof backing. Dry in the shade. Two sets let you rotate while one is in the wash, which is especially handy with small children.
How it compares
Compared with a plain plastic mattress cover, bamboo terry is soft, breathable and quiet, so you do not sweat or hear crinkling. Compared with an ordinary fitted sheet, it adds a waterproof barrier that saves the mattress from stains. A full zip-around mackintosh offers more complete coverage for heavy-duty or medical use.
