This is a waterproof polyester shower curtain measuring 180 cm high by 180 cm wide, made to keep water inside the shower or bathtub and stop the bathroom floor from becoming a slippery puddle. Polyester fabric hangs more softly than a plastic sheet, feels less clinical and is far less likely to crack or tear at the hooks. The printed designs double as instant bathroom décor: in the photos you can see a grey and lime geometric print, a soft blue-grey leaf print and a subtle white-on-white pattern, so you can match a modern grey bathroom or keep things bright and minimal. It is an easy, inexpensive way to refresh a tired bathroom in a rental, give privacy in a shared bathroom with a clear glass screen, or finish a newly renovated room. Changing the curtain is also the quickest way to give a guest bathroom a fresh look before visitors arrive.

Buying guide
Measure your rail before ordering: a 180 cm wide curtain suits a standard bathtub or a shower opening up to about 160 cm, leaving enough fabric to hang in soft folds. For height, the curtain should end a few centimetres above the floor or inside the bath edge so water runs back into the tub. Check whether you need curtain hooks or rings, as these may not be included. Wash it every few weeks in cool water with mild detergent and hang it to dry in place; this stops soap scum and mildew building up along the bottom hem. Leave it spread open after showers so it dries quickly.
How it compares
PEVA or vinyl plastic curtains are cheaper but stiffen, crack and cling to your legs over time. A polyester curtain hangs better, washes easily and looks more like a proper part of the décor. Glass screens are the premium option but cost far more to install and cannot be changed when you redecorate.
