A waterproof lantern with dual charging: solar for when there is sun and USB for when there is not. That combination is the reason to choose it over a solar-only light — an overcast week does not leave you in the dark, and a long blackout can be covered from a power bank. Warm, dimmable light and a body built for rain.
Specifications
| Charging | Dual — solar and USB |
| Light | Warm white, dimmable |
| Weather rating | Waterproof |
| Battery | Long-lasting rechargeable |
| Use | Camping, garden, emergencies, outdoor décor |
| Placement | Hang or stand |
Buying guide
Keep it topped up by USB and let solar do the maintenance charging — that way it is always ready rather than dependent on the week's weather. Use the dimmed setting for a tent or a night light, which stretches runtime considerably. Waterproof means rain, not immersion, so do not leave it in a puddle.
How it compares
Against a solar-only lantern, dual charging means bad weather does not leave you without light. Against a mains lamp, it works during outages and outdoors. Against a torch, it lights a space rather than a beam.
