This bedding set pairs a reversible cotton quilt cover with a flat sheet and pillowcases, in 5x6 or 6x6. It is the practical way to dress a bed properly in one order: cover, sheet and cases in the same cotton, with a second look built into the cover whenever the room needs a change.

Buying guide
Pick the size from your duvet rather than your bed frame — that is where most fit complaints come from. The flat sheet needs a proper tuck under the mattress; if you prefer a sheet that cannot come loose, look for a fitted set instead. Line dry in the shade to keep both sides of the cover at their original depth of colour.
How it compares
Against a duvet-cover-only purchase, you get the sheet and cases in matching cotton. Against a three-piece microfibre set, cotton sleeps cooler and lasts more washes without pilling. Against two single-sided sets, one reversible cover gives you two looks and takes half the wardrobe space.
