Wash and dry the container completely before filling it — any residual moisture in a 10kg store of rice will cause clumping and spoilage across the whole container. Keep the scoop inside the container rather than in a drawer, so portioning is always clean. Store it out of direct sunlight and away from the cooker's heat. Wipe the lid seal before closing, since a grain caught in the groove breaks the airtight fit.
