Cotton bedsheets cut for the 6x7 bed — the size most often bought short, because sheets sold as generic large frequently fit a 6x6 and pull loose on a 6x7 mattress. These are sized properly, in cotton that breathes through a warm night and softens with every wash rather than pilling.

Buying guide
Measure the mattress, not the frame, and include the depth — a deep mattress needs the tuck allowance that a properly sized 6x7 sheet gives. Wash before first use. If you have both a 6x6 and a 6x7 bed in the house, mark the sets, because sorting them after laundry is the small daily annoyance nobody plans for.
How it compares
Against 6x6 sheets stretched onto a large bed, correctly sized sheets stay tucked. Against microfibre, cotton breathes better and lasts longer under hot washing. Against a duvet cover alone, sheets are the layer you sleep directly against, so fabric quality is felt more here than anywhere else.
