Cleaning Gloves with Built-In Scouring Pad - Nairobi

Cleaning Gloves With Scouri...

Cleaning gloves with a scouring pad built into the palm, so your hand is the scourer. It sounds like a gimmick until you scrub a burnt sufuria with one: you get the whole force of your palm behind the abrasive instead of pinching a small pad between finger and thumb, and nothing slips out of your grip into the sink.

Specifications

Type Reusable gloves with palm scouring pad
Use for Burnt pans, tiles, grills, sinks, tough grease
Protection Hands stay clear of hot water and detergent
Advantage Full palm pressure on the abrasive
Care Rinse inside and out, hang to dry
Lifespan Months of regular use

Buying guide

Keep these for the hard jobs β€” the scouring surface is too abrasive for non-stick pans and ceramic hobs, where it will leave marks. Rinse the pad thoroughly after each use so grease does not set into it. As with plain gloves, rinse the inside too and hang them to dry, and keep separate pairs for bathroom and kitchen.

How it compares

Against plain gloves plus a scourer, these free a hand and never drop the pad. Against a scourer alone, your hands stay out of the water entirely. Against a soft cloth, this is for burnt-on residue, not for anything coated or delicate.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use them on non-stick pans?
No β€” the scouring surface is abrasive and will mark non-stick and ceramic. Use a soft cloth for coated cookware.

What are they best for?
Burnt pans, grills, tiles and heavy grease, where you want real pressure behind the abrasive.

How do I care for them?
Rinse the pad and the inside of the glove, then hang them to dry.

Do you deliver outside Nairobi?
