Returns
A folding table and chair set in aluminium alloy, which is the material difference worth paying for: aluminium keeps the whole set light enough to carry from a car park to a picnic spot in one trip, and it will not rust after a rainy weekend the way a steel set eventually does.

Buying guide
Aluminium is light rather than heavy-duty — do not stand or sit on the table, which is how folding legs bend. Set up on level ground and press each corner down before loading. Rinse sand and salt off after a beach trip, since salt residue pits even aluminium over time.
How it compares
Against a steel folding set, aluminium is much lighter and rust-free, and takes less load. Against a table alone, this includes the seating. Against a permanent patio set, it packs flat and travels, at the cost of long-sitting comfort.
Frequently asked questions
How heavy is it?
Light — the aluminium alloy frame is chosen so the whole set carries in one trip.
Will it rust?
Aluminium does not rust, which makes it the better choice for beach and rainy-season use than steel.
Is the table strong enough to sit on?
No. It is built for food and drinks, not body weight.
