A desk globe paired with a crystal pen holder — the executive desk set. It is bought as a gift far more often than for oneself, and the reason is what it signals: a globe on a desk reads as ambition and travel, and the crystal holder keeps the gift useful rather than purely ornamental.

Buying guide
Place it away from a window if you can — sun fades printed globes over a couple of years. Dust it with a dry cloth rather than a damp one, since moisture lifts print at the seams. For a corporate gift, check whether the recipient's desk has room; executive desk pieces need about 20cm of clear surface to look intentional.
How it compares
Against a pen holder alone, the globe makes it a statement gift. Against a framed certificate or plaque, this is something the recipient uses daily. Against a flask-and-notebook pack, it is decorative rather than practical — better for a senior recipient than for volume gifting.
Frequently asked questions
Is the pen holder usable?
Yes, it is a working crystal pen holder, not purely decorative.
How much desk space does it need?
Around 20cm of clear surface for the set to sit well.
How do I clean it?
