Returns
The gold-finished version of the desk globe set, with a detailed globe and a crystal pen holder. Gold reads as more formal than a plain finish, which makes this the choice for a senior desk or a milestone gift — a promotion, a retirement, a corner office. It is decoration that happens to hold pens.

Buying guide
Gold finishes show dust and fingerprints, so keep a soft dry cloth in the drawer. Keep it out of direct sunlight to protect the finish and the globe print. As a gift for a senior recipient, it is the sort of piece that sits on a desk for years — worth checking their desk is not already crowded.
How it compares
Against the standard globe set, the gold finish is more formal and shows dust more readily. Against a crystal award or plaque, this is used daily rather than shelved. Against a practical corporate pack, it is a status gift rather than a working one.
