Returns
An inflatable lounge chair in khaki, shaped ergonomically rather than as a plain cushion — the back is angled so you sink in without your spine folding. It inflates for an afternoon in the garden or an evening indoors and packs away afterwards, which is the whole appeal in a flat where floor space is at a premium.

Buying guide
Inflate it firm but leave a little give; a rock-hard lounger is uncomfortable and stresses the seams as air expands in the heat. Use it on grass, a rug or a groundsheet rather than rough concrete. Rinse and dry it after poolside use, since chlorine left on the surface degrades it over time.
How it compares
Against a bean bag, this deflates and stores flat. Against a deck chair with a frame, it is softer and has nothing to fold or pinch. Against the inflatable lazy sofa with footrest, this is the simpler single-piece lounger.
