A six-piece plain white bedsheet set for a 6x7 bed. Plain white is the workhorse of hospitality bedding: it can be washed hot, bleached when something happens, replaced piece by piece without matching a pattern, and it makes any bedroom look immediately cleaner than coloured bedding does.

Buying guide
For a rental, buy two identical sets per bed: white is easy to replace piece by piece, and rotation is what keeps a listing turning around same-day. Wash hot for hygiene between guests. Keep white off the line in full afternoon sun — it weakens cotton and, counter-intuitively, dulls the white over months.
How it compares
Against coloured sheets, white takes aggressive laundering and always matches. Against a striped or patterned set, replacements never have to match a design. Against satin, cotton breathes better and looks crisper in a guest room.
