Plain white cotton bedsheets for the 7x8ft bed. On a bed this size, white does two things at once: it makes the room read larger and cleaner than any colour, and it can be washed hot and bleached when needed — which matters, because sheets at this size are not cheap to replace.

Buying guide
Measure the mattress including depth before ordering — 7x8 is often assumed rather than measured. Wash hot for hygiene in a guest room, and dry in the shade: strong afternoon sun weakens cotton and, over months, dulls white rather than brightening it. Two sets per bed keeps a rental turning around same-day.
How it compares
Against coloured sheets, white takes hot washing and always matches. Against a striped white set, plain is the simplest and cheapest. Against microfibre, cotton breathes better and lasts longer under hot laundering.
